Whilst Turnhouse have expanded the reciprocal deals with other clubs in the UK, by joining the Association of James Braid Courses (on the TGC website and notice board within the club) and also by personal contact with other clubs (on the rear page of the fixture diary and TGC website), recent discussions have now lead to a new deal with clubs listed below which gives improved benefits to members of Turnhouse GC.
With effect from Monday 8th June, membership of Turnhouse Golf Club, not only entitles you to reduced price golf at clubs with reciprocal agreements, but now entitles you to FREE golf at the following clubs:
- Helensburgh GC, Helensburgh – 01436 674173
- Stranraer GC, Stranraer – 01776 870245
- Craigie Hill GC, Perth – 01738 622644/620829
and likewise allows their members FREE golf at Turnhouse.
There are conditions attached to these offers, which are listed below:
- Only FULL members of each club qualify for this offer
- 4 members of each ‘away’ club within this partnership are entitled to FREE golf every day, subject to restrictions (such as out with medal/competition/outing times)
- Groups of more than 4 from any one club, should agree a rate for the ‘extra’ members when making the booking, with the away club
- Requests for tee times must be made to the away club no less than 48 hours in advance by contacting their professional/administrator. This request will be a provisional booking until confirmed as detailed below.
- A confirmation e-mail must be sent to the away club 48 hours prior to members playing there, with the names of members attending to play
- Failure to do the above will result in your booking being cancelled.
- Proof of membership should also be taken with you (i.e. membership card/handicap certificate) and may be requested by the away club.
- There is no limit to how often a member plays at an away course, and times will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
- Should members of clubs within this scheme wish to participate in club medals/competitions at away courses, then a form of membership that permits this must be subscribed to.
- This ‘partnership’ is subject to an initial 3 month trial period, and will also be subject to regular audits.
