What a week it has been for our very own Danny Young who was competing at the European Tour Q-school final qualifying  at Lumine in Spain.

Up for grabs, at the end of a 6 gruelling round golfing marathon,  were 25 cards for the European Tour.

Having previously come through the previous qualifying rounds ,Danny qualified for all 6 rounds and completed his final round with a 3 under par 68 giving him a total of 11 under par. This unfortunately left him in a tie for 29th- just one shot short of the required qualifying total.

Whilst the ultimate goal was just out of his grasp, Danny must content himself with a year ahead on the Challenge Tour and the chance of a few invites to main Tour events if the opportunities present themselves. 

The club wishes to congratulate Danny on this achievement and thank him for his continued role as ambassador for Craigie Hill Golf Club.

We are looking forward to seeing him in person to toast his success at the Annual Prizegiving this Saturday.
