Prize Giving Texas Scramble - Saturday 18th November

Texas Scramble followed by Prize Giving and a few......

Morning folks. Prizegiving is almost upon us. The Board in its wisdom have decided to shake it up this year and do away with the pomp of a Dinner. We are here to golf so let’s golf. If it is a crashing disaster blame Dave Bruce (he’s bowing out from committee duties after what I’m sure seems to him to have been decades) 

To replace the dinner we have introduced a Texas scramble with a shotgun start. Coffee and rolls from 10am with a start at 11. We have 19 teams to date so a great turn out but room for a few more Tale end Charlie’s. Good number of guests as well so should be fun. 

After everyone is in and fed with a Buffett we will have a few pints and to those so inclined watch the rugby on TV.

Following this the ceremonious annual back patting for the successful individuals who’s husbands and wife’s obviously allowed them out to play the course this year.

The format is great fun and it will be good to see everyone get together for a few drinks.
