Matchplay Competitions - Entry Sheets Available

The Entry Sheets for the Norie-Miller Matchplay, The Foursomes Matchplay and the Over 55's MacIntosh Rosebowl are now available in the Bothy.

These are the Club's main Matchplay events which are drawn and played throughout the season.

Entry is £2.00 for each player entering and cash is taken separately.  We won't deduct this from normal Golf Accounts.

Entries will close on Sunday 14th May - so please get your names in as soon as possible.

The draws will be available via Master Scoreboard and also on the Main Locker Room Noticeboard.

Just to clarify - for all Knock Out Competitions:

Players must pay close attention to the dates at the top of each round.  Ties must be played by these dates.

Whilst it is the responsibility of the challenger(s) (first name(s) to make contact to arrange a mutually convenient date,  it is the responsibility of both competitors to ensure the tie is played.  If there are difficulties, the challenger(s) should give his/ their opponents(s) 3 dates which must not be consecutive.  No more than 2 dates may be given in one week, and only one date may be a Saturday or Sunday.

For the purposes of all competitions the week runs Monday to Sunday.

Extensions to published closing dates will only be considered under extreme extenuating circumstances and all queries must be directed to the Board of Directors.

If no competitor‘s name is put forward, the Directors will eliminate the challenger’s name from the draw in the absence of any good reason to the contrary.

In the event of the Match being tied after 18 holes - extra holes must be played and handicap shots start again.  (Exception is the J Bowie Medal Matchplay where ties need to be played again over 18 holes).

All appeals must be directed to the Board of Directors and their decision will be final.
